If you have a desire to step into the field of business, there are many different routes you can take as far as careers are concerned. However, even though many job positions and career options differ from one another, they often require the same or similar educational backgrounds. City/Municipality Management

Business-related jobs can go in any direction, because almost every process has a business side, even politics. If you don't mind working in a political setting, becoming a city or municipality manager is an excellent career choice with a business administration degree. This individual is often appointed by the local officials or city council and handles things like budgeting, payroll, debt management, and many other functions for the city as a whole. Beyond these tasks, you may also be responsible for things like staffing and organizing community events. 

Advertising or Marketing Manager/ Business Owner

There is a lot that goes into advertising and marketing in general, so many big companies will hire a specific individual who handles everything associated with advertising and marketing. This means you would be directly responsible for things like:

• creating new ad campaigns
• tracking consumer impact and demographics
• analyzing the effectiveness of marketing strategies

A marketing or advertising manager does not have to work with a specific employer. With this career path and your business administration degree, you could just as easily form your own advertising or marketing business that caters to many different businesses. 

Public Relations Manager

The public image is hugely important to businesses. How a customer views them has everything to do with how well the company is trusted in general. Because of this, it is not uncommon for big businesses and certain types of businesses to implement a public relations manager to oversee public interactions. Because you have spent time studying business-consumer relations when obtaining your business administration degree, you will have a good understanding of things that need to be changed, avoided, and encouraged with the public. This insight can be used to build the most upstanding reputation for the business, which is highly valuable.
